We moved 10 feet in 1/2 hour, then decided to park 2 miles from the course in the Denny's parking lot and walk to the course. We found out later the way to avoid this traffic is to either leave before 6:30 or after 10:00 AM. Besides the national barrel riding championships, this is the only premier event all year here and the city is ill-prepared to handle large traffic surges.
