we found this on hotels.com after a tremendous amt of research on peg's part. we stayed here first 4 nights, then decided to come back to paris and stayed here 3 more nights after seeing the countryside. we averaged $250US per/night. peg wouldn't allow me to eat the continental breakfast, it was $20US. so we went out and had coffee and croissants at cafes for $20US. paris is paris! we gave the hotel great reviews, good service, quiet, and great wireless internet, something we found to be a rarity in france. everyone, including cafes, claimed wifi, but had third-party logons that either didn't work or were bullshit when connected. i just gave up and did internet when i returned to my room each night. i think if i return to europe, i'll just eat the extra cost to ATT for cell data and have the convenience of connection in my cellphone. it would have been nice on the road in our rental car to answer questions as we drove. note to self-------pay for data plan next trip to europe.
