a shot at the paris suburbs. these were mainly rental apts, and not a thing attractive about them. all of them looked to be small, or at least by american standards. i liked it. it was refreshing. while in paris, i didn't see one SUV, one granite counter-top and a parisian said the youth soccer teams only get toiphies when they win their matches! how quaint! i was fantasizing about having dinner with a group of french people and the conversation wouldn't turn to "how many square feet is your house?".
