we were taking the tube to the suburbs to pick up our rental car for the drive thru the country. paris is the most culturally diverse city i've ever experienced. there was just no typical parisian. it was so refreshing. we rented our car in the suburbs to avoid driving in the city, another prime move by peg. ironically, after picking up the car, the early morning clouds wouldn't let geneveive, our gps, get her brains from the satellites so we winged it getting out of paris. let's see, sun rises in the east, we're going west............sooooooooooooooo...........drive with the sun behind you. it worked, i use that a lot on my bike and was pleasantly surprised it worked.
