here peg and i are learning the paris tubes. each day was easier, here is seen their touch screen ticketing, which worked real well. you could ride about anywhere in paris city limits and back for about $5 per/day. we had several pickpocket scares, one of them in the subways. i had just put my ticket into the turnstile and was walking and turning the spoke when i felt this warmth on my back. i turned around and a 60 something lady was in the turnstile with me, of course getting into the subway free and picking my pockets at the same time. i immediately put both hands in my front pocket, where i kept my iphone and billfold. she didn't succed with the theft, but got into the subways free..........
