we headed out for dinner around 6pm. the city at dusk turns into a velvety, laid-back thing of beauty that words just won't describe. no billboards, no neon, and small streets and numerous outdoor cafes make this city incredibly seductive. one of the things we noticed was that tourists were only about 30% and the rest were native parisians. it was the richest people-watching experience i'd ever encountered. i caught peg here in an off-camera moment, maybe demonstrating NFL referee signals? learning to direct traffic? yikes!!!!!!
