bmw painting-they now use a water based paint for bmw's, which causes lots of overspray and waste. solution? under the paint booths, they have their own river! paint overspray falls into the water, is filtered out later and reused to paint more cars. pretty impressive...........one more bit of info. after WWII, berlin and germany was split in two, east belonging to the ruskys, west belonging to democracy. the bmw motorcycle was is still is made in berlin, so the specs for the motorcycle were given to the ruskys so they could make the motorcycle. they called it the ariel, i've seen plenty of them at bike shows. engine is the typical boxer engine, the color is a grey/brown.
