saturday nite in bavaria........ some of these people dress like this all the time. southern bavaria is a very tradition oriented area. not much cultural or racial diversity here. one u.s. soldier stationed here said real accurately......"bavarians are a lot like texans". that's a zen arrow, and exactly my experience of them. full of pride in their way of doing things, not real anxious to change. back to our bavarians in the picture. they had a room at our lodge rented for the evening. peg and i listened to lawrence welk music all night on an accordian. Real rockers!
