::: Thumbs ::: Next >> ::: westminster bridge and parliament. this shot was taken from the 'london eye', a ferris wheel type thingie across the thames. the thames is quite clean now, after years of cleaning sewage and sludge from it's waters. at one time, parliament had to adjourn on hot afternoons because of the stench from the river. the thames was referred as 'the big stink'.
