the cab-we used thes sparingly, opting for the tubes. one night, however, one of these little guys saved our asses. we were returning from devon in our rental car, and the drop-off was at an address around harrod's store. in a torrid rain squall, and pitch dark, we drove around literally in circles for over 2 hrs looking for the drop-off address. we'd pull off on the sidewalks, get in a phone booth, call the rental car guys again and get directions. buses honking horns at us, it's a wonder we didnt crash the car. u literally couldnt see for the rain. sometimes we'd drive repeatedly on roundabouts, deciding what to do next. we were totally stressed out........when, suddenly an empty cab appeared in front of us at a light. i told peg to quickly jump out of the rental, jump into the cab and we would follow her to the drop-off. she did, and we did. the place was 4 blocks away!!!! wtf!!! it was nestled in between some century old alleyway. we'd have never found it. we were so relieved, slept like babies that night.
