i'm heading north, real sated with my experience of vegas. check out my seat. those are wooden beads to prevent 'monkey-butt'. i'll try to explain....ever see how a chimp walks stiff-legged by tilting side to side? with heat, no soap, and no sanitary equipment, he's pretty chafed all the time, VERY uncomfortable. In other words, he has 'monkey-butt'. the beads are designed to allow air between seat and rider and have worked relatively well in preventing monkey-butt. that would all change when hitting the hot desert.
