The Hilton Cayman-A nine-hole golf course here is the home of the famous Jack Nicklaus cayman golf ball. Developed by Nicklaus as an idea to use 1/2 the land of a regular golf course, the ball flies half as far on full shots but putts and chips like a regular ball. It has small porcupine-like extruding dimples to restrict air flow in flight. 400 million in development money later, the thing is a bust. Never caught on and caused Nicklaus to run out of money and sell MacGregor Sports. We tried to play the course, but a tournament was being played that day.
